Best Galveston Texas Fishing

Galveston, Texas was one of these serendipitous finds that we had not intended to visit but that we were glad that we did. We had all heard the name Galveston and we knew that it was in Texas but that was all that we knew about it.

Galveston Texas Fishing is so much more than just its history, no matter what your age there is something here for you and if you have a young family you will certainly not be stuck for things to do and see. We had a great time and one of the must see places are the Aquarium which is housed in one of the three large glass pyramids that dominate the landscape.

Seawolf Park is on Pelican Isle in Galveston and is home to the USS Stewart and the USS Cavalla a World War two Submarine both of these are open to the public and are interesting to visit.
If you like maritime museums then the Texas Seaport Museum will be right up your street and one of the projects of this museum is the Galveston Texas Fishing. This takes place on the vessel Seagull 2 and if you have the time it is an interesting tour to take.

When it gets hot in the summertime one of the things to do in Galveston, Texas is to escape some of the turgid and sizzling heat and do a little day-tripping to Galveston Island. It is always degrees cooler down there with saltwater breezes blowing in from the Gulf of Mexico. And if looking for something a bit different to do a Galveston attraction worth seeing is the amazing Bishop's Palace. Many people have probably spotted this Victorian beauty after coming over the I-45 causeway bridge and traveling down the main street of Broadway leading directly to the Gulf beaches which lie straight ahead.

Galveston Fishing guide service is made available and the docents leading these tours are friendly and knowledgeable. There are lots of fun and unique gift stores available in Galveston Island that carry beach wear, sea shells, ice cream, salt-water taffy, candy and even ice cream.

The old downtown area is wonderful; quite a contrast from the beach, like a different world. There are many wonderful places to eat in Galveston -- seafood, of course! But if you get hungry for Mexican food, try The Original Mexican Cafe at 1401 Market Street. It's been there for a long time, and the food and Margaritas are excellent.
